It is Turkey's first and only CTI-EUROVENT certified closed circuit cooling tower model.
Closed circuit cooling towers are cooling units working with the principle of indirect evaporative cooling. Unlike the open circuit cooling towers, it contains a closed-loop heat exchanger in the area where the filling material is used. The main purpose of using this heat exchanger is to prevent the contact of the cooled process water with the external environment. While working with water-cooled product groups for Hvac type air-conditioning process, it could also work directly for the cooling of machines in industrial process.
There are 3 fluids in the system under normal conditions.
1. Process Fluid: It is the fluid that comes from the heat source to the closed circuit cooling tower for cooling. Only water or glycol brines could be used depending on environmental conditions.
2. Spray Water: It is one of the main actors of the direct evaporative cooling principle in this process. It ensures the formation of effective heat transfer area and coefficient by keeping constantly wet the outer surface of the heat exchanger tubes. The heat exchanger transfers the waste heat from the tubes to the air. So, the temperature of the spray water does not show very serious fluctuations (ups and downs). Its temperature is a value that depends on all design criteria of the system.
3. Air: It is responsible for removing the heat in the system from the environment. If it makes direct contact with the spray water or the tube, it takes the heat away from the base by taking it from the pipe.

1-Main Structure and Body
Our LEON model closed circuit water cooling towers are designed to provide optimum cooling. The main structure is made of galvanized steel, the pool, the deck and the fan base are made of GRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polyester) labels. The body panels of the tower are also made of GRP labels. It is a Gel-Coat material that is resistant to all weather conditions and UV rays, does not fade, does not deteriorate, does not require aesthetics and does not require paint, the inner and outer surfaces of the tower are colored with polyester-based pigments. The outer shell of the tower is produced by sandwich technique using Gel-Coat, Fiber, Polyester, Coremat, Fiber, Polyester materials.
2- Cooling Serpentine
Tower serpentines will be manufactured from continuously bent, hydrostatically tested steel tubes. After the manufacturing process, it will be deep-dip galvanized. Tower serpentines will be placed horizontally inside the tower and will be tested with 24 bar compressed air in the test pool.
3-Fan Group
Fan blades are designed to provide silent operation. Blade angles could be adjusted manually when the fan is stationary. It is possible to easily mount the blades to the fan hub with U-bolts. Fan blades are produced with aluminum extrusion. In all our models, direct coupled engines and gear units with direct coupled engines are used in IP 55 protection class, insulation class F, heat increase class B, operating at 3-phase 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequency values. In this way, the risk of belt breakage in belt-pulley driven engines is prevented.
4-Water Distribution System
One of the most important elements of thermal performance is the optimum water distribution system. Our company conducted extensive research for this purpose.
The water distribution system consists of PVC main collector and PVC secondary pipes in the designed tower and is designed to wet the entire surface of the coil. The spray nozzles are made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide material and have high resistance to all kinds of chemicals and low clogging risk. They could be mounted on the PVC pipe without any extra materials. Nozzles also could be disassembled and mounted by hand without any tools.
5-Drop Holders
Sinoidal wave type profile eliminators made of PVC material hold the water droplets in the discharged air. Thus, water circulation losses at the design point can be reduced to 0.002%.
6-Tower Pool
The water tank is made of GRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polyester) material, so it is light and there is no risk of corrosion. The outer surface of the pool is a gel-coat material that is colored with polyester-based pigments, resistant to all weather conditions and UV rays, does not fade, does not deteriorate and does not require painting. A discharge device capable of discharging all water, floater for feed water and water connections for overflow water are shipped ready.
