Concrete Natural Draft Cooling Tower

General Features

Reinforced concrete natural draft cooling towers are used in large power plants and industrial facilities. Large capacity of cooling are needed in this type facilities. Wet natural draft cooling towers are preferred to be economical and to provide this large capacity. Because of chimney effect, the air travel from down to up with intended velocity (1-3 m/s) in cooling towers. Like in the conventional cooling towers water distribution, filling and eliminator system constitute of the inner part of this type of cooling tower as well. This type of cooling towers have not fan-motor group thus there is no energy usage for cooling. Because of energy saving the return of the high initial cost taken in a short time.
